Whats the name of this movie ?

i`m looking for a movie which i saw couple years ago. It`s about a guy(can`t remember black or white but tend to think it`s Morgan Freeman, but didn't`t find it in his filmografy) who gets in a prison for life the prison doesn't`t have walls so everyone who try`s to cross the line gets shot without warning. He meets a guy the same age as he is and they become friends. By the end of the movie them too are about 80 years old. They fake they're deaths in a fire and escape the prison to go and see a baseball game. it`s like the guy is put in prison in the 30`s or so. and it`s NOT SHAWNSHANK REDEMPTION :) TNX :)
