Please give advice on things to do in Houston area after my families visit to MD Anderson ?

Museum of Natural Science, butterfly center inside, and Holocaust Museum are a must. The Zoo is great but go early in the morning because it gets so hot during the summer. You can also go to The Galleria shopping center and they have an affordable ice rink. Not far away is Galveston and they have Schlitterbahn, a great water park.
