Do i lie to the manafacturer about how my laptop broke?

Hi guys, I have broken my laptop and have a manafacturers guarantee and they have agreed to repair it or send a new one, depending on which circumstance it broke in. The truth is that my cousin had been round and had spilt a numerous amount of jelly beans on the bed, anyway, i left the laptop on top of them and the jelly beans caused the laptop to roll off the bed and smash to bits on the wooden floor. This excuse sounds very far fetched and OTT, What do you suggest?
